Sandy's Story...
Hi y'all!!!  my name is Sandy. I'm 8 years old and full of life. My favorite activities besides eating (yes I know I need to lose a few pounds) is going for walks, swimming, and chasing squirrels and other small critters (cats included). I'm looking for a home where my human will be home most of the time since I get a little anxious when left alone for long periods of time. The great thing is I'm fully housetrained and crate trained.  I'm good with older kids and other dogs, and I know basic commands and a few tricks to boot!!! Also, I'm quite the little counter surfer but that's nothing we can't work on together- after all, I'll do anything for a treat. Come by and say hello ..I know my forever family is out there somewhere!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Cape Coral Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Cape Coral, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Cape Coral.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cape Coral already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cape Coral breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cape Coral paves the way for another one to be saved.
