Attention! SQUIRT Here!
I am a happy, loving, male, neutered, microchipped, tan Lab / Australian Cattle Dog mix looking for my forever home. I am about 3 years young and weigh approx 80 lbs. My previous owner puppy and when old enough adopted out to my family who thought I was so cute and loved me. By the time I grew from puppyhood into an adult, the love of my family decreased day by day the more I grew up. They simply did not do anything either to entertain or educate me about common sense and do or don'ts. I was the family member that was cute as a button as a puppy and with growing up lost more and more the reason why my adoptive parents made me a family member earlier. They got children and that led finally one day that I got surrendered to my rescuer. I am three years old and the years went by without proper education or training. So when I came to the rescue I was not fitting into any foster home or available on the adoption floor. To get the so much needed training and education I was gifted a vacation in boot camp with a dog trainer and behaviorist. Oop did I say vacation? It was maybe the first and only time I received appropriate care in combination of training social skills. During boot camp I learned so did my trainer and rescue.
I am best suited in a home as an only dog without children, cats or other dogs. My adopter preferably should be a woman and be willing to give me exercising units and straight from the start love and training to become a loyal family member. Here is a short guess from my trainer that I got:
I would settle in to an adult home situation. Loyal to a fault , well mannered, obedience trained, house broken. I can be protective. The reason my adopter should have no kids is based on an estimated guess to provide safety, it look like i have been abused by a child in my past.
Yours with a happy tailwag!

About Recycled LoVe DoG Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Recycled LoVe DoG Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization - EIN 46-4136670 - dedicated to and believes that humans are morally responsible to assist in and/or rescue homeless, abused, neglected and abandoned animals, to be a voice for the voiceless. We rescue dogs from high-kill shelters all over the United States, we transport or fly when necessary. With our home base in California where dogs are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, or owners who can no longer care for their pets for whatever reason, we do our best to save as many lives as possible. With our team of committed volunteers, loving foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, pilots and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue more animals every year and with the love of our supporters, we provide them with any necessary medical care, spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, deworming, deflea & detick. We place them with well-matched, carefully screened permanent loving homes. We believe in providing the public with information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of the spay/neuter, positive behavior training, children/pet education, good nutrition and new parenting commitment, adjustment periods, and other pets and/or children around these new family members. We recycle love every time we save a life. Rescued dogs under the Wings of Recycled LoVe DoG Rescue are surely blessed. Recycle LoVe ~ Adopt A Homeless Dog.

Our Adoption Process...

Terms for Adoption: The rescued dogs are located in loving foster homes in Southern California. The dogs are evaluated at time of rescue for breed, age etc. at best guess. We always try to answer calls/emails in a timely manner. Please allow a time window of 48 hours to return/answer to your inquiry. We do not ship dogs. Out of state adopters can fly in to meet and adopt our dogs, when adopting the dog must fly in cabin home with the adopter. Home inspection and an Application are required for all adoptions and must be arranged prior to all meet and greets, if it is a match an Adoption Contract must be signed. We appreciate your interest in our dogs, however, there are no exceptions to the above. Our ultimate goal is to find a Perfect Match for our dogs and the adopter, so that your new family member will live out their life in a loving environment. For puppies there is an Addendum to the Adoption Contract which includes dates for vaccinations and spay / neuter at appropriate age. A deposit to ensure spay/neuter of the puppy is part of the adoption fee and contact with the adopter. All other dogs available for adoption are spayed / neutered or will be prior to go into their new home.

Recycled LoVe DoG Rescue is an all volunteer based rescue, funded entirely from donor support and adoption fees. As an All Breed Rescue, we safe dogs of all breeds*, ages and needs, puppies, adults, seniors. Each dog requires individual vetting, to their needs and we are working tirelessly to make sure they get the best care and treatment, as comfortable for them as possible. Due to rising veterinary costs, we are forced to restructure our adoption fees, so you will find your new family member all vetted and ready to go home with you.

Adoption fees are:
Big Breeds $400
Puppies:
Big Breeds $350
Small Breeds $300
Purebreds $400
Adults $250
Seniors $230

** Discounted adoption fees are offered, for adopters who already adopted a Recycled LoVe DoG prior or for adopters who offer a loving family and forever home for 2 Recycled LoVe DoG's **
