Dear potential forever family,
Hi, I’m Yogi… a 7-9 year old Dandie Dinmont Terrier-Poodle Hybrid. I have a lot of traits typical of a Dandie such as my calm, reserved, independent, and loving nature. I’m also smart and listen well (for the most part), which maybe comes from the poodle in me. There’s nothing that gets me more excited than going on a walk or on an outing with my favorite person. Because I’m so well behaved, I can be brought pretty much anywhere with you. After my walk, I prefer to lounge around on something comfy and listen to NPR or Animal Planet to brush up on pawlitics. If you’re lounging too, then I’ll curl up next to you. Sometimes you just need to invite me over though because I can be a bit shy. I get along with other dogs, but I’m not necessarily looking for a buddy… I’m more of a solo kind of guy, but I don’t have any problems co-habitating. Like any dog buddy, I desire lots of pets and kindness. I will do best in a home with someone who is patient and gives me gentle guidance to learn the ropes of life, and also someone who is home more often than not. The more I trust, the more I will blossom. If you have a relaxed, calm home with easy breezy vibrations then I’d love to come chill with you!
