Betty's Story...
BETTY

Little Betty is a 5 month old Terrier mix, weighs about 8 pounds, and will stay on the small side. We just couldn't resist the Flinstone names!
She was found in a box with her two other sisters, left on the street. She is a really sweet puppy, with a lot of energy, very playful and loves to run and play with her dog toys, an 22nd doggy sister, Wilma. She does great with kids, and would love to snuggle with you, or sit outside enjoying the sun. She is a puppy so she does need leash training and house training (she is currently in the process of being trained). She would definitely benefit from another doggy friend in her new forever home.
If you would like to make Betty a part of your family please fill out an application online at www.lapdogrescue.org and include her name at the top.
Please Note, Betty's adoption fee is $225.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty, a Tijeras Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Tijeras, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Tijeras.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tijeras already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tijeras breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tijeras paves the way for another one to be saved.
