My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! My name is Boo and I'm a 10 year old, 12 pound Maltese mix. I was taken from my dad when he could no longer feed and care for me. I hadn't been out of the home to see a vet or get my hair cut in 2 years. I've been to the vet and to the groomer and now I feel like a million bucks! I was feeling poorly when I first came to my foster home. I'm guessing the lack of good nutrition and the heavy mats on my feet made me not want to move around much, but you should see me now. I run like the wind and can romp with the best of them!!!

I've heard everyone (the vet, the groomer and my foster mom) say I have the best temperament. I like all the humans and dogs I've met. I'm kind of an independent guy- not one of those whiny, needy, constantly in your face little dogs.

I'm good on a leash but they don't leash me here because I will just follow along, never straying or wandering off. Although I don't need one, I'm good when crated and never fuss when I'm in there.

If you're looking for a friend, please don't discount me because of my age. I have a lot of life left to live. A little bit of kindness, compassion...and some good food will go a long way with extending my life!
