Andrew, Andy for short, is a super cute little Terrier cross that we rescued from a near by shelter. He is around 2 years old and looks like a mini version of a Duck Tolling Retriever. Andy gets along well with dogs and most people. He does have some fear issues around leashes and being picked up, but we are working with him on trust. We believe someone abused him at one time with a leash and that is why he seems so fearful in those situations.

We believe in time, Andy will get over this fear and be an incredible companion. He is about 15lbs, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be neutered soon.

If you are interested in Andy, please fill out our adoption application at http://tysorvet.net/adoption-application/. Please be sure to fill out every field even if it doesn't apply.

About Tysor Veterinary Clinic

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small veterinary practice located in a small town in a rural county in North Carolina. We have animals that are brought in as strays, owner surrendered, and brought to us by animal control when they have been picked up and are injured. We feel that every animals' life is worth saving and to the extent that we have room we accept these animals into our adoption program. Our staff work as a team and we are like family. We all work together to provide the best care for each animal and to treat each pet as if it were our own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoptable animals are located at our clinic and our adoption building next door to our clinic. We are usually very busy in both buildings first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon with feeding, walking, and generally taking care of our adoptable animals. While you can come any time to visit the quietest time of the day is usually from around noon to 3:30pm.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption fee for most dogs is $150 and the adoption fee for most cats is $100. However, we sometimes have higher fees if we have information that a dog or cat is purebred. While we are happy to have you come and visit our adoptable animals at any time we would encourage you to fill our an application before you make the trip and to also check us about the best time to come to our facility. You can access our adoption application at our website, www.tysorvet.net. Go to the adoption tab and you will see the adoption application. We will check your previous and/or current vet reference as well as a personal reference. If you are approved and adopt an animal from us you will be asked to sign an adoption contract. If you adopt out an animal that is too young to be spayed/neutered we may require that you pay a deposit that will be refunded at the time of surgery.
