My story

Mona Lisa #17-323. Arrived 6/19/17 at 6-8 years old.
Mona is everybody’s friend from what we have experienced. She is happy to meet everyone and very social. Mona did come to us as a stray that appears to have been not cared for medically as she needed to be. She had some hair loss and skin issues that are currently being issued. Mona just makes you smile when you look at her because she smiles back with her big goofy ears going every which way. Mona walks great on a leash and she listens well. She does get a little picky about her treats, but she does not appear to be skipping any meals! Mona is a staff and volunteer favorite and she is fun to razz up in the yard because then she gets silly and shows her joy. Mona will dedicate herself to her new family and she will be forever grateful for a home that wants her.
