Yukon's Story...
Yukon is a neutered, 5 yr old male in need of a new home. He is a big boy at 128 lbs, but is said to have a big heart to match his size. He is reported to be good with other dogs (of all sizes) and even seems to be okay with cats. He is well behaved in the house - other than being a food thief (he is a malamute after all!). He pulls some on leash and could use an obedience class.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yukon, a Phoenix/Tucson Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Phoenix/Tucson, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Phoenix/Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix/Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix/Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix/Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
