My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This one in a million puppy is ready for adoption! You’ll want to be sure to get your application in fast for this stunning little cutie -- she’s as perfect as she looks! Cherub is quite obviously a gorgeous pup, but she’s even more perfect than that. She definitely wears her heart on her head, quite literally. Check out the heart marking right on her forehead! She has ears like angel wings...hence the name "Cherub"...she is definitely an angel!. She has adapted to change well and is fully house trained, sits on command, and learning new tricks everyday! Her favorite activity is splashing around in the puppy pool, especially on hot summer days. Cherub enjoys playing with her two other foster dog friends, but also loves to sit back and enjoy the view by cuddling up next to you on the couch. This perfect little Aussie mix can’t wait to show you her personality and become your new best friend!

Check out Cherub starring in her very own YouTube video: https://youtu.be/zf5n2d03v9c

Cherub was rescued from a high intake rural outdoor shelter in Southeastern Missouri where she was on death row. There is no adoption program there, her only way out was to be rescued. Dolly's Legacy is honored to have saved her life and have promised her a happy home.

Cherub is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix, weighs 26 lbs and was born approximately 1-13-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on prevention. Adoption fee is $300. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information.
