My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHARLIE BOY is a handsome 3 year old Husky/Shepherd mix who finds himself in need of a new home. He was rescued from a bad situation by a family who loves him but they feel he needs a home more suitable to his needs and personality. He would do best in a home without small children under 6 years because they frighten Charlie and make him nervous. He responds best to men but gets along well with his female foster and her older children age 9 and up. He is a smart dog and a fast learner but needs a person or a family who has time to work with him. He would do best with a fenced yard so he can safely run and play. He gets along with other pets. He loves car rides and likes to get a bath. He also likes to talk back to his humans, like many Huskies do. He has been fuly vetted. He around 55 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases. Now all this Healthy Husky Hunk needs is a Happy Home! If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Charlie Boy if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer rescue to cover at least part of the cost of the veterinary care this dog has received.
