Hi! I'm the lovely, royal Dutchess. I am a young and active lady who loves to have a job to do- I'm a working gal and I love to stay busy. I pride myself on being quite a smarty-pants! I can learn anything quickly, especially if there is food involved. I am always on a mission to find something to do and things to figure out. I would do best with an active, younger couple who can motivate me and exercise my mind and body on a daily basis. I love being pet and rear end scratches are the BEST! I am great at playing fetch, but I'm still learning to drop the ball at the end! I am friendly around most other dogs, as long as they let me take the lead and be the fabulous diva I am. If you're looking for a great listener, look no further than these big ears of mine. Come and meet me today!
BAHS Staff Note: Dutchess has a history in the shelter of keeping the high-value treats she likes close to her. She is learning quickly how to trade for something else, and doing great with this. Her adopter should be able to continue teaching her the "trade game" and be able to provide lots of daily exercise and playtime. She would do best with children 10 years or up. She cannot live with cats.
