My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mellie!!!! What an adorable little 3 year old shorty girl!!! Mellie was rescued from the mean streets of Houston! We can tell that she has had a litter, but we told her she never had to worry about that again!! All her vet work has been done and she is a healthy and happy dog. Mellie is a very, very light heartworm positive but we are not going to do the harsh treatment. Her vet said her heart sounded wonderful and recommended a heart guard each month. Even though Mellie experienced fear and a lot of sadness in her earlier days she is still the sweetest most loving little dog you could ever imagine. All she wants is to be beside you and be loved. If you don't like doggy kisses, you better not get Mellie. She is very demonstrative in her affection! She loves love!!! We feel that Millie will do best in a home with male dogs....of any breed. Mellie requires a home with no other female dogs and no cats. We will not ship Mellie out of state. Her adopter must be able to drive to the Conroe/Houston, Texas area to get her. A home visit and a good vet reference are mandatory to adopt Mellie. Her adoption fee is $200.
