Little Chi's Story...
This little one has a sad story to tell. She was seen in video surveillance being left in a crate next to a trash barrel in Slater Park one rainy night. Found by city workers in the morning, she was taken to Pawtucket Animal Control shelter where she has received treatment for her skin and is looking much better.

She recently entered our foster care program where we have found her to be extremely friendly, social, and outgoing. She is happy to meet every person she sees and get into their laps for snuggles and kisses.

We are not sure the reason why she is missing an eye, but she seems to manage just fine with the eye she does have.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Chi, a Cranston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
