Hermes's Story...
Rescued from a shelter, which is no place for a baby, Hermes, is the smallest of the family, named for the Greek god of herds, trade, thievery, athletics, and messenger. With all these responsibilities, Hermes is relieved to have no relationship with the French retailer of the same name but is as valuable as their overpriced goods. Hermes loves to lie on a lap and be petted to sleep. He is always attentive to the scooping of the litter box, frequently vying to be the first one to use it once it's clean. He likes gentle tummy rubs and to play with his siblings' tails. She would make a wonderful companion! Contact us at if you would like her to be a part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hermes, a Nashville Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
