My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ZOEY was found running around a parking lot, darting in and out of traffic. She has passed through the legal holding period and no owner came forward, and now it's time for this super little girl to get a home she can feel secure and safe in.

Her breed mix is unknown so please do not assume that we know exactly what mix she is. Her coat is medium length and thick, she weighs about 9 pounds and is full grown. Like many small breed dogs, she may need a teeth cleaning at some point in the next year or two, so please be prepared for that.

She is easy going, hangs out happily in the house or in the yard, sleeps in a crate, is house trained and seems to adjust easily to new situations, people and other pets. She walks on leash well, and is an all around pretty well adjusted little dog. She barks a little at the cats she meets, but is easily dissuaded from doing that. She would love to be with a family who has plenty of time to devote to her, and would do fine with dogs or as a solo dog.
