PHANTOM of Opera's Story...

Born around early July 2008, PHANTOM is healthy, neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. This little charcoal & white sweetie is confident, outgoing, gregarious & loving.

Little Phantom has been living in a foster home with one dog & several cats, including his Mama & 2 sibs. His little family was found homeless, struggling to get by as Mama is missing a paw--'removed' we are told, by some neighborhood kids. This entire family each needs a permanent safe sanctuary to contentedly live the rest of their lives.

If there is room in your heart & home for this sweet little fella, please contact GAIL to find out more about the adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PHANTOM of Opera, a Cincinnati American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
