Hi, my name is Chloe! I'm a stunning, 5-year-old, 12.5 pound Chihuahua mix looking for a safe, warm lap to curl up in.
After everything I have been through, I am so thankful I ended up with Tucson2Tails. My previous owner neglected me and kept me outside in the backyard. I was lucky to be fed whatever leftovers were available and had never had any sort of veterinary care, despite raising three litters of puppies. I had no exposure to new people and the outside world, so I am afraid of strangers and am nervous in new places. Because of this, I need very slow introductions to everyone. Once I trust you though, I am fiercely loving and all cuddles and kisses!
In my foster home, I am the happiest little pup ever - my tail never stops wagging! If you want to play, I will play all day! If you want to chill on the couch and watch TV, I will be right at your side. I promise to always greet you at the door anytime you come home, even if you were only gone for 2 minutes, and roll over for belly rubs every morning. You can even dress me up in cheesy sweaters if you want - I don't mind! I have mastered the sit command and am working on some fun tricks. I am food motivated and love making my people happy, so I will be easy to train. I get along great with calm dogs around my size. I walk well on leash, but get frightened easily by strangers, bicycles, and loud traffic. For this reason, I would do best in a home with a private yard in a quiet neighborhood.
Although I had a pretty rough start in life, I am looking forward to living my best years as a loving and loyal companion. I would love to meet you!
