Description: Belle is mostly tannish-brown with white markings. She has three legs; long, soft, floppy ears; and big brown eyes.
Personality: Sweet Belle is a happy, playful girl who loves other dogs, adults, and children. A little shy at first, now she generally goes right up to people. She loves to run and goes zipping around. Belle is currently a wonderful teacher to a shy dog, and showed him that people can be trusted. And, she told him, "Watch me! Here's how to go through a doggy door!" And he did! Belle needs a home where she would not have to go up and down stairs; and if there are slippery floors, where rugs could be put down and secured.
Animal History: Belle was a long-term stray in a rural area. She lost a leg somehow, probably in an illegal trap.
