Queenie was living on the street for over a year and a nice lady finally was able to capture her. And, she was very, very pregnant! She got to Charming Pet Rescue and immediately had pups. Poor girl was scared to death. Queenie was an excellent mother and all puppies turned out wonderful and happy. Now Queenie is ready for a new home, she is going to need a special foster/adopter that wants to work with her on trusting people. She really does not trust anyone and will stare you down wagging everything until you try to touch her. Then, she is scared to death and will flinch away from a hand. She is an inside/outside dog and we have to back her into a corner to pet her and she is just tense and ready to run. She needs a firm but gentle hand that will show her that humans are good and love her.ily pet!
