Who is this gorgeous pup that looks like a coyote you ask? Meet Rome! Rome is Soi Dog rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Southeast Asia by Soi Dog Foundation, our partner rescue based in Thailand. She and a group of her friends traveled from SDF’s facility in Phuket and were flown stateside to The Barking Lot in June 2017. Rome is a sweet, friendly, chill and mellow girl who goes with the flow. She gets along well with other dogs and people alike. When she’s checking out new sights and sounds, she’s alert and inquisitive. When she’s just hanging out with people, she enjoys being pet, and would even doze off with her head in your hands. Rome is a great medium size of 35 pounds, not too big, not too small. At a little over 5 years of age, Rome is ready to settle into a forever home to call her own!
