Adoption Donation C600

This handsome fellow was owner surrendered because they have no time for him :-( He is highly intelligent and truly enjoys learning new tricks. He loves the company of other friendly pups and loves playing with children and even us big folks. He is 38#, fully grown, DOB Sept 10, 2016, and ready for his real forever family to open their heart and home to him.

For puppies/dogs over eight-months-old you will pick your puppy/dog up from rescue representatives home in Toronto. Dogs over eight months are on a seven day "get to know me" trial. There is absolutely no way for you to meet this dog prior to its arrival in Toronto and we do not send them without an absolute commitment for foster to adopt. There is a 100CDN deposit and if adopted at the end of the seven day period will be applied to the adoption donation. If after seven days you decide that he/she is not the dog for you, and you agree to foster the dog until another foster is found, this happens very quickly, you will not be stuck with the dog for a long period of time, your 100 deposit is refunded. If you make us remove the dog at the end of the seven days the deposit is nonrefundable as it will go towards the cost of having to board the dog while finding a foster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kane, a Toronto Australian Shepherd/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie puppy from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
