Meet Nymph. These are not the best photos but she is never still. Nyph's photos do not do her justice. At 3.5 months old and only 2.7 lbs she looks huge in photos, but I think it is because she is ALL EARS. Nymph is squirmy, silly and sweet. She is not a fan of the kennel and will let you know about it :). She was covered in ticks and all goopy eyed from the valley, but Nymph is now a TXCR baby and will be looking for her forever home in another week or two after she is all better and spayed. Apply at www.texaschihuahuarescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nymph, a Albany Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Albany, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
