AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER JULY 20th
We almost can’t handle all the cuteness packed into this tiny little girl’s body. You can’t help but go “awww” every time you see her. But Ruby wants you to know she’s more than just a little cutie! Ruby has two speeds: fast & asleep. She is a ball full of energy with her foster friends but you can also find her snuggling close to her foster mom when the day is done. Ruby loves to go on walks, but does get tired part way through, so her foster mom has to bring a tote with a blanket to finish the walk out. This little ball of fur is a sucker for treats, we have been doing well with potty training and she is learning a lot from her other fursiblings. She is working on being kennel trained, but is a little young to be in one for long periods of time, she does best in an open area where there is plenty of room to pounce and play! Ruby’s favorite hobbies include full speed running and tumbling, trying to catch her tail, and snuggling under blankets. Ruby will need a home with a fenced-in yard because of her activity needs as she grows.
Ruby was rescued from a high intake rural shelter in Southeastern Missouri.There is no adoption program there, her only way out was to be rescued. Dolly's Legacy is honored to have saved her life and have promised her a happy home.
Ruby is a Red Heeler/Cattle Dog mix and was born approximately 4-20-17. She will be spayed & microchipped prior to adoption. She is vaccinated, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $400. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information.
