Zoey's Story...
Hi hoomans! My name is Zoey! My siblings and I were brought to animal services and we were so scared there. But then my foster parents came and rescued us. We are sooo happy now. My foster daddy works from home so he gives us a lot of attention and we all love it. My foster parents couldn't tell my sister, Sophie, and I apart at first. We look like twins, it's really cool but then my foster parents realized Sophie has white on her nose and I don’t hehe! I'm a very sweet, friendly girl and I have lots of energy. I really need a kitty friend to help me get my energy out so hopefully I can get adopted with one of my siblings, that would be purrfect!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
