George's Story...
GEORGE - AVAILABLE IN THE MIDWEST AND NEW ENGLAND AREA.

George is a GREAT dog! He is gorgeous and sweet. George weighs about 45-50 lbs and has a black shiny, beautiful coat. He is almost a year old and we believe he is a lab/ hound mix. He loves chasing a ball and exploring new smells. He is an active young boy and will need appropriate exercise. He would love to hike, run, play ball or do just about anything his family will let him do. He takes treats nicely, but can use some additional obedience lessons to make his already great personality and skills even greater. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He would be good in an active home with respectful older children (only because he is still such a puppy he may knock a toddler down) or a single person looking for a fun companion dog.

George is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heart worm negative. He is microchipped and kept on frontline and heart guard. If you think this is your boy, please complete an online application and request him on then notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
