BALOO is a 3 month old male light brindle Labrador Retriever mix with gray/hazel eyes. His mom is a chocolate lab and he dad appears to have has some mastiff mix.
BALOO is a big goofball. He likes to eat, roll around and being held. He is currently in the teething stage so he needs lots of good chew toys. His favorite toys are a butterfly shaped teething ring and his sister, Fiona Rosemary. He is somewhat vocal - - he will let you know if you missed his feeding time!
BALOO is working on his potty training, he started out on potty pads and is now working on going outside. He has the oddest habit of standing on his back two legs and leaning with his front two paws against something to urinate or defecate. He is used to sleeping in a kennel.
BALOO mom, Muneca, was turned into the local shelter with her blind daughter, Tina. Both dogs were extremely underweight and had not received proper veterinary care. Muneca wasn't showing any signs of being pregnant when she was rescued from the shelter. Fast forward three weeks - - Muneca had one pup naturally, then had to be rushed to the Vet for an emergency C-section. She had a total of nine pups, but was not producing milk. The pups were rushed to bottle feeders and other nursing mommas, but only BALOO, FIONA ROSEMARY and JILL survived.
If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.hhfrescue.org. Thank you for considering a rescued dog!
The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is an additional $10.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. If adopting a puppy, the rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they are 4 months old and billed to us. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
