My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Duchess, and I’m a two year old girl on the small side at about 40 pounds. My babies and I were taken to a North Alabama shelter. Fortunately the nice people at the shelter called AGB and they came to rescue us. I was so relieved to go to a nice comfy foster home where I could take care of my babies without having to worry. Once my pups were old enough, another rescue found them homes. Now AGB tells me they have a wonderful family who wants to adopt me. Dreams really come true! Thank you to the nice man named Jim who picked us up at the shelter and drove us all the way to Birmingham on a holiday weekend and to my foster mom who showed us love and compassion. I can’t wait to get settled into my forever home and will be forever grateful to the kind people at AGB for taking care of my babies and me.
