Facts about Vesper the Very Wonderful

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 11615786-Gregory
  • Hair: Short

Less than three weeks ago, Vesper’s owners brought her to a veterinary clinic, as she had a condition that required surgery in order for her to continue being a happy, healthy cat. But instead of getting Vesper the help she needed, they explained they wanted their loving, wonderful cat to be euthanized, then walked away. Fortunately, the vets chose to operate on Vesper, and one of the techs took her plight to heart, deciding to foster her.

Vesper is very, very grateful for the kindness!

Now that she’s fully recovered from her surgery with a clean bill of health, this 6-year-old beauty shows off her super-sweet side to her foster whenever she can. She’s a total darling who deserves so much better than her former owners gave her.

Vesper is fully vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, and still loves and trusts humans despite everything. If you’d like to meet this amazing girl, contact Gregory at ggkaplun@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
