We love our girl Trixie!
Trixie is back with us after her adoptive mom developed serious health issues, but she's the kind of dog who's resilient in any situation - she remembers her foster home and settled right back in, just as she'll do in her permanent home. But moving from place to place is not in a dog's best interest even though we think Trixie feels she's just on a new adventure! Her next home must be forever.
Trixie found herself in a kill shelter through no fault of her own, a stray who no one wanted. She's an extremely sweet and happy three year old who easily shows trust and is great with other dogs and kids. She's a cuddler but not a kisser. She walks on a leash but loves her outdoor time, running in a yard chasing squirrels and rabbits, so a fenced in yard is a must. Being part beagle has kept her on the small side, about 35 pounds. Trixie is crate trained and house trained, spayed and up to date with vaccinations. She will make an excellent family member to a loving home!
