Patches is the epitome of the "comeback" cat. He showed up around our house last fall and decided that he did not want to leave our garage. He was all skin and bones when he arrived with visible ribs. He had such a bad flea infestation that most of his hair was gone. We took him to the vet and got him up to date on all his shots. They even put him to sleep and cleaned his teeth and ears out. Now he loves being a "fat" cat. He loves to be rubbed. He still has some wildness in him but he is craving to be an indoor cat. He would be a very affectionate single indoor cat. He does not play well with other cats. I built him a heated indoor bubble home in our garage last fall and he loved it. He has been living in our garage now for going on 9 months. He goes outside now but never ventures very far away. He loves to play with a fury bird connected to a pole with fishing line. We are relocating overseas and cannot take him. A single indoor pet without kids would be best.
