Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beau is a beautiful reddish/brown 7-8 month old Lab/Chow mix. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. Beau is a loving and playful dog that appreciates getting this face and behind his ears rubbed. He is house trained but still has the very rare accident. He loves to play fetch with a tennis ball, knows the sit command, and is kennel trained when we leave the house (he will sleep in the kennel but would prefer to sleep on the floor next to your bed so he can watch over you). As he is still a puppy he has a short attention span and loves to chew on things, therefore puppy toys (rope bones are great) are a must and stuffed puppy toys don't last long. He also loves playing in the water and will splash around in a doggy pool all day long. He loves to play with other dogs and sometimes has to be reminded to be nice to senior dogs (he loves to pull on ears). He is great with children of all ages (we have three - ages 2-9 and we also run a daycare) and is very socialized with people (we take him to ball games), loves to be on a leash and does very well being walked on a leash. He takes treats very gently and when he wants your attention he won’t hesitate to give a little tug on your shirt. Beau would do best in a home with another playful dog or with an owner who has lots of time to spend with him and take him to the dog park or for doggy play dates.
Beau’s adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
