Zoe is an 8yo female golden retriever/lab mix  whose owner is moving out of the country and cannot take her.  Sweet, well-socialized, affectionate, friendly. Very active, although she's quiet and well-mannered inside the house. Loves other dogs but would also be great as an only dog. Not cat tested. During her early years, Zoe lived with kids so she's recommended for older dog-savvy children, mainly due to her activity level. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands.  Loves to be with her people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  You would never guess that this is an 8yo dog because she seems MUCH younger (see video)! Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 55 pounds.  AWESOME dog has many good years left and will make a wonderful companion for an active family. Because she's officially a 'senior,' Zoe's adoption fee will be discounted.

About Good Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Good Dog Rescue is an all-breed rescue group headquartered in the South. Our group is comprised of volunteers all over the Southeast who love dogs and want to help those that end up homeless through no fault of their own. Loyal and loving dogs turn up every day in Southern shelters, as owners turn them in or they’re found roaming the streets after being dumped. To the best of our abilities, we evaluate all of our Good Dogs’ temperament and suitability for living with other dogs, cats, and children. A dog’s health is checked, and we make sure they are up-to-date on all shots and are spayed or neutered. Then, we place them in loving foster homes until they find their very own family. Our goal is to meet the needs of each dog as an individual and to assure proper placement in a loving forever home.
