Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Stella's Story...
Stella is a 2-year-old chihuahua/terrier mix. She is between 5 and 6 lbs and is an owner surrender. Stella can be aggressive with strangers, but once she warms up to them she is a sweetheart. She is already potty trained and would do best in a home with other dogs to keep her entertained. She will need a home that doesn't have a ton of visitors or a home that is willing to work on socialization with her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Manhattan Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
