Rory's Story...
My name is Rory:
I am the darkest orange of the redheads and the fluffiest. I look like I’m the biggest, but I’m actually just a little bigger than our littlest sister Riley. While she is my best friend, I love to romp and play with all of my siblings. However, when I’m tired, I like to snuggle with my human. I especially like to snuggle by your neck. You see, I had the best 14 year old, gentle foster mommy. She gave me lots of gentle snuggles and love, and never made me feel scared. That’s why I trust humans and come to greet you. I would like a cat tree because I’m curious about my environment. I also like the big cats in my foster family. I watch the Chihuahuas through the pet fence but am not best friends with them yet. I know that with some supervised visits, I would learn to trust dogs. I am a neutered male, tested negative for FeLu/FIV, and vaccinated. Please come to visit me if you want the purrrfect gentle and trusting snuggle bug.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rory, a Scottsdale Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
