Renny Benz is a gorgeous 'dilute' calico who is tiny and sweet, sweet, sweet.
She came to us suddenly one very late night. Her foster mom was the 'go-between' to transfer some feral cats from their colony to a barn home. She was told that one of the cats had never been seen at the feral colony before, but the cats were in danger, so there she was.
When her foster mom opened the carrier into the transition cage, a tiny kitten came spilling out, and back she went into the carrier and into the Happy Cat Adoptions program.
She wasn't feral, but she wasn't very used to being picked up and petted and she had no idea what to do with a toy. Luckily, she had Astro, who had also been recentlly rescued.
After a two-week isolation, the two went into a cage and it was love at first sight for Renny. Whatever Astro did, she did. And so now plays, cuddles, and comes running up for her morning nose kiss.
Renny loves to be near you and loves to be petted, and she'll enjoy a little cuddling, but she's not a lap cat and she is a little timid with loud noises. She likes and gets along with other cats great. Her ideal placement is with another cat--or to be adopted with a buddy--in a quieter home, no young children or barking dogs. Older kids would be great, she loves petting and likes to play.
