Facts about Lance

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Lance is a well-behaved senior gentleman, about 8 yrs. old, who will impress you with his nice personality good looks. We believe he may be a mix of yellow lab, shar-pei, and maybe some husky somewhere in the mix. Whatever he is, he is definitely a mix of charming, loyal, and affectionate. He gets along with other dogs (except when they get near his food) and seems fine around cats. A quieter home with older kids (> 8 yrs. old) would probably be the ideal situation for him. He likes staying indoors mostly, but also enjoys his daily walks. No crate necessary. He rides very well in the car, too. Can you offer this sweet boy a terrific home? He's got a lot of love to give someone. If interested, please fill out an adoption application at our site @ www.PeisandStrays.com and please click on our Adoption Info for more information on our adoption process. PLEASE NOTE: Lance is located in a foster home in Vermont.

About Peis & Strays

About Our Rescue Group...

Peis and Strays is a non-profit all-volunteer organization. It was established by a small group of individuals in the New England area with the intent of helping Chinese Shar Pei find loving homes.

Peis and Strays relies on donations, fund-raising activities and adoption fees for its income. We do not receive any state or federal funds. All donations directly benefit the dogs in our adoption program. We are a 501c3 organization, so your donations are tax deductible. We are always in need of donations and committed volunteers like ourselves. For more information about us, please email us at: info@peisandstrays.com

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter in any specific location, all of our dogs are cared for by foster families in their homes, across New England. Since the dogs are all cared for by private foster families, we ask that the adopter fill out an application before they meet a dog, to show that they are truly interested in adopting.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process includes an application (http://www.peisandstrays.com/adoptions.php), a home visit and the vet reference. Further information about our adoption policies are located at: http://www.peisandstrays.com/adoptinfo.php.
