Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue
KayJay is a beautiful 5 year old red brindle that is bright, loving and very tenacious! She is aware of everything going on in her world and in the past was quite reactive to most stimuli. Much of her reaction could be due to the fact that she had a bad skin yeast infection, low thyroid and itched so badly that she bit her legs until they bled. As her health improved so has her anxiety! She loves to take long walks and has learned that cars on the road are not to be feared! She is also learning that she does not need to fear humans that pass her on her walks, but will need to trust the leadership of her owner to continue growing in this area. Lots of treats, happy talk, petting, regular exercising and controlled exposure to friendly people and children will be required for this little girl. KayJay is not ready to live in a home with other pets and small children but given her energy level and loving disposition, she will make a wonderful family member.

**** FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! ****
YOU can make a huge difference by fostering just one dog. ONE dog, ONE time a year = ONE life that could be saved! Each and everyday we have the opportunity to save more Cairns in need, but we can't do it if we don't have the Foster Homes to place them in. Would you like to learn more on how you can help?
'Saving just one dog won't change the world, but it surely will change the world for that one dog.'
