My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

September 2017: These “Big Bang Theory” pups are beyond adorable! Mom is a 30 lb. yellow mixed breed dog, who looks just like Penny and Sheldon. Her puppies are already the same size as her so Dad may be a bigger dog and we're not sure of their breed mix. Mom appears to be a Lab/Catahoula. They are from an area with a lot of strays and Dad is not fessing up! These guys and gals are very sweet and are doing well with kids and other dogs. No information on cats. They are 7 months old as of early September.

Raj is in foster with other dogs, including his brother, Stuart. He is doing wonderfully and can't wait to find his forever family! Raj is such a handsome and good boy. He has learned a lot since arriving in Maine. He can sit, and go to his crate for meals. Raj is more outgoing than his siblings in the “Big Bang Theory” group. He will chase cars from within the fenced yard (we don’t let our foster dogs off leash). Raj is sweet and very affectionate, he is a great kisser! He could be an “only” or he could live with other dogs. Currently he has several furry foster siblings – dogs of all sizes and one cat as well. At first he barked at the cat but with direction he backs off. He would need monitoring and reminders to “leave it”. He will alert to noise on the property and make sure you are safe! As they get older these pups remind us of Shepherd mixes.

To learn more about Lucky Pup Rescue, please visit our website: www.luckypuprescue.org. If you have interest in any of our dogs, please fill out the application and we'll work with you to find a great match for your family: http://www.luckypuprescue.org/#!adoption-application/c1aw8.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Thank you for considering rescue!
