My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet 7 year old Ellie Mae was dropped off at the local kill shelter by some people who claimed they found her as a stray. It doesn’t appear she was stray for long because although she looked like she had never been brushed, she also hadn’t missed many meals. The meals she had were probably not the highest quality, because her coat shows signs of poor nutrition. Ellie Mae has a lot of life and love left to give. She’s now spayed, and we have started her on some anti-inflammatories as she had a little bit of trouble getting up off the the cold, hard floor of the shelter. Ellie Mae loves to snuggle and just sit and enjoy being outside. She showed some interest in a tennis ball , but mostly she just wants to be s close to someone. She’s very stressed out being in the kennel environment. Doesn’t Ellie Mae deserve to spend her golden years being a loved and cherished family member?
