Cody's Story...
Cody #7576 is a 5-year-old male, Yorkie mix. This young man is very sweet. He is crate trained. He is good with other dogs, seems to be ok with cats. A very happy boy, but probably would not be good with children under 10 years old. He can get a bit nippy of you try to pick him up quickly, it seems to scare him a bit. He walks well on a leash and likes to go out for his walks. He weighs 10 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Waldorf Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
