Barry - Adopted's Story...
Barry is an 8 month old tuxedo Goldendoodle. He is a sweet dog who is smart and easy to train, always eager to please. He's very loving with and loyal to his family, but he is very shy around new people. It takes him time to warm up to people and places, though he warms up to children more quickly than adults. He is gentle with our cat and has a great time playing with other dogs when we take him to doggy daycare. He is uncomfortable when there are new people in and out of the house and in public around a lot of people, so he needs an owner who can be patient and willing to work with him on his social anxieties. More attention and training on this specific issue will help him greatly. As much as we love Barry, we have found that we are not providing him with the attention he needs and we want him to have the best in life. We want him to have a home where he gets the attention and patient love and training he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barry - Adopted, a Midlothian Goldendoodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Goldendoodle for sale in Midlothian, or seeking a Goldendoodle dog from a breeder in Midlothian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Midlothian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Midlothian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Goldendoodle breeders who help with Goldendoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Midlothian paves the way for another one to be saved.
