King's Story...
King is a 5 month doberman mix who was rescued from Texas. He is now in a foster home in WA. He is your typical puppy, playful, energetic, happy. He needs some training but nothing beyond just teaching him some puppy manners. He is good with other dogs and is in a foster home with cats. Cats scare him but he is slowly coming around to them. But he is not aggressive towards them or anything like that so he can be in a home with cats. His adoption fee is $500.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

King, a Tacoma Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
