Shaina's Story...
Playful and sweet. I think we should meet!

well well. who would have thought. Me living in a shelter. I thought they loved me. I thought they cared. My name is Shaina and I am a 10 month old, spayed female. I am up to date on all my vaccinations. I am a total love bug, but still have my very playful moments. After all, I am a cat! I love to chase little balls and mouse toys. I would do well in any home, but I would prefer to be with another kitty or with someone who is home more often than not. Maybe you can find it in your heart to take me home. With all I've have been through that would be a dream come true.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shaina, a Norwalk Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
