Corky is a 7-year-old male Chihuahua, weighing only 6 pounds. He has only three legs, but, judging by his actions, it does not affect his life. He enjoys the company of other small dogs, but he hasn’t yet met big dogs or cats.  How does a little dog protect himself when he is nervous?  Corky has been known to bite, but he doesn’t do it when he knows he can trust.  Because of the possible biting and due to his size, he should not be around young children.  He is a total love bug when he knows people.  Corky is housebroken and does not mark.

Corky qualifies for our Senior Discount if his adoptor is at least age 65.

The suggested adoption donation for Corky is $300, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue.  If you would like to welcome Corky into your home, please begin by submitting our Adoption Application.  The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver the dogs.  If you would like to learn more about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, or donate to our dogs, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com.  We invite you to visit our Facebook Page, and when you visit, please don't forget to Like our Facebook page so that you won’t miss any information about our dogs and events!

About Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, Inc. is a not for profit organization formed in 2014 by a small group of devoted animal lovers, in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area, with many years of rescue experience wanting to make a difference in the lives of dogs. Our rescue focuses on small breed dogs, less than 35 pounds, of any age. It is all volunteer based, and all of our rescue dogs are living in the homes of our volunteers.
Our rescue is unique in that we offer supportive services, such as education and training, to owners considering relinquishing their pet in an effort to try to keep the dog in their home whenever possible. We also educate and offer placement assistance to owners attempting to rehome their pets through social media sites, which can often be risky for the pets as well as the owners.
