Now we've all heard that "curiosity killed the cat," but in the case of little Mayo it simply left her with a sticky coat. She was busy trying to get to the bottom of a mayonnaise jar when one of our volunteers rescued her. Mayo no longer has to work for her supper and is eating a much healthier diet now! Best of all, she is no longer alone and scared, and gets to run and play like all kittens should! Now that those troubles are behind her, Mayo can focus on her next goal - a forever home! If you are interested in adopting from us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. We require an approved adoption application before bringing a kitty home, and those can be found at http://www.mcphersonhumanesociety.com/adopt-a-pet/

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
