WOW, what a stunning boy cat! That was my first impression when I saw his picture. If you have ever wanted to adopt a majestic purebred Maine Coon and your ideal cat comes with a striking face, a gorgeous coat, and an impressive, healthy weight of 27 lbs., you may have found your dream cat.
Raycoon does have a sister he has been with since his current owners bought him from a breeder, so he and his lovely sister Izzy do need to be adopted together.
The only reason Raycoon and his sister are looking for a new home is because his family needs to move and they have been unsuccessful finding a rental that allows them to keep their beloved cats.
Raycoon is a typical cat in when he meets a new person for the first time. He tends to be timid and will hide from visitors. However, he is very loving with his current owner, so after some time, you can expect that his easy-going Maine Coon nature will take over and he will be a wonderful companion to a very lucky adopter. Oh, and if you enjoy having your feet warmed at night, this majestic 27 lbs. male should help you purr yourself to sleep in no time.
Raycoon is great with dogs. His current owner’s daughter has 2 large dogs and when she comes to visit, she brings the dogs along. Raycoon is very comfortable with these dogs and he also likes to play with the owner’s puppy toy poodle.
Raycoon enjoys being close to his people and will want to be very close or even on his person’s lap when it’s time to relax on the couch. He follows his current owner around like a kitty dog.
Though he has not been around children, his mellow personality should work well with cat savvy children.
He eats wet and dry food that is fed twice daily.
He will come to you with updated shots, is a healthy boy, and uses his litter box without any issues.
