Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gypsy! What a beautiful soul. When you first meet Gypsy, the dog that you see is not what is actually inside. This sweet girl is full of life and has a strong herding, working, energetic, playful side. Once she knows you, you begin to see how much personality is actually in there. Gypsy has been through a lot and is currently working on building self confidence, meeting new people and exploring all the things she's never seen. She has a strong drive to "do" but needs a slow, proper introduction so she can learn the "what" behind it and the "how" to do it. Gypsy truly loves other dogs and has asked us to help her find a friend. We are looking to place her in a home that has another happy, confident dog to pal around with, one that can show her the ropes. She absolutely craves the companionship of canines. She feels more comfortable with them, she learns from them, she trusts them, she revels her true self to humans when other dogs are around. With a herding/working breed somewhere in her genetics, she is eager to learn, feel purpose, work. She is agile, athletic, playful and is built for endurance. She is sensitive to human energy and will not reach her full potential in households that are loud or busy with people. She is looking for a calm, quiet, patient, loving leader. She may not rush in your lap on the first visit, but once she knows you, she is "ALL IN" with her full heart. This girl has an incredible lively, silly personality and a true zest for life. She just needs time to reveal it. We will only place Gypsy with a human that will get her out of a back yard and out on a trail, walking path, in a car, around the neighborhood, camping, hiking, and more. She is at a critical time in her life and needs exposure in order to come out of her shell and gain more confidence in new situations. No small children or cats please. She likes to herd! :-). Give her time... she will surprise you! We love this girl. Age 1 years. 50 lbs.
