Shiro's Info...

I am purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shiro's Story...
Shiro is an 8 week old lab retriever puppy who was owner surrendered to us after a person bought him on a whim then a few days later decided a puppy was too much! Puppies turn into dogs quickly and they are forever! Shiro deserves a family who will love him like a true member of the family and we want to get it right for this little guy his second time around.

He has a clean bill of health from our vet, available for adoption with a neuter waiver cert. Shiro will need his first set of shots within the next 10 days. Please note our puppy adoption donation for puppies 2 months to 5 months is $375.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiro, a Davis Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Davis, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
