Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Fitz.
Look into my eyes... they are gorgeous. What amazing green eyes Fitz has! And as you'll see in one of his pics, he laughs and squints. He is full of expressions!
Fitz would do well with a very active adopter! So if you're looking for a lab mix to put some pep in your step, we've got the dog for you!
He wrote part of his bio for you all because he's not only got looks, he's got brains too:
"I have lots of energy and would love a brother or sister to play with but they should have the same energy level as me. Low energy dogs do not enjoy my company because I have so much energy and they do not want to play with me; this makes me sad because all I ever want to do is play! I would love to go on outdoor adventures with you; I am working on my leash walking skills but it so hard to be calm and remain focused when I see and smell rabbits and squirrels, sometimes it is so tempting and I can’t resist!
I am learning some "basic commands" like sit, lay down and stay but will need you to give me treats to help master them. (I love treats!). I take my job as guard dog very seriously; I have protected the house from numerous invasions from FedEx, UPS, Amazon and even the back yard from a bird invasion.
My foster parents say that I’m very cute, loving and an eager learner."
Fitz lives in a foster home with 8 and 10 year old kids. Not sure how he is around cats and loves car rides.
He's 55 lbs and 1 year old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and house broken.
