Maestro is an adorable, scruffy little guy who comes to us all the way from Sacramento. Sadly, his owners could no longer afford to take care of him and had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him. Despite this big change in his life, Maestro couldn't be a happier boy. He loves to explore his surroundings, meet people, and is very dog friendly. Maestro loves to be held, but is also perfectly happy relaxing on a cozy bed. He's the perfect combination of affectionate and independent. Maestro is a terrier/chihuahua mix and has the most adorable tongue that hangs out of his mouth. We just can't get over how sweet and gentle this darling dog is! Come meet him for yourself and we know you'll fall in love!

About Muttville

About Our Rescue Group...

Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.

Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.

Our Adoption Process...

Most dogs have an adoption fee of $200.00. Muttville conducts home visits for potential adopters and if you adopt a dog from Muttville we require a signed adoption contract.
